Federal Construction Group is tasked to Repair, replace components to hand rails/architectural accents in the following areas:
Commercial Primary – Inbound – Booth D203:
o Repair concrete paving system and restore to medium broom finish
o Straighten and align left/right angle iron guard railing, strengthen weld attachment points. Replace middle angle iron vertical on right guard rail.
o Replace perforated metal panels and ½” thru-bolts to steel plate (24” O.C.)
o Install new concrete anchors at 2 ½” x 4” or longer headed studs at 2 ½” O.C. and 1 #4 x 24” long dowel for imbed plate attachment
o Re-attach lower 1” flat bar on left guard rail Commercial Exit Inspection – Booth F102:
o Replace angle iron vertical at bottom of stair (right)
o Repair/reattach perforated metal panel Commercial Exit Inspection – Booth F103:
o Repair concrete paving system and restore to medium broom finish
o Replace both angle iron guardrails including imbed plates

Replace both perforated metal panels including ½” thru-bolts to steel plate (24” O.C.)
o Install new concrete anchors at 2 ½” x 4” or longer headed studs at 2 ½” O.C.
o Replace lower side lighting fixture and curved high strength optical grade clear acrylic lens cover with Acuity Brands Hydrel 4750 Series T5-T5HO Linear Fluorescent fixture and mounts or equivalent. Maintain same cord length. Finish to match existing. Commercial Exit Inspection – Booth F104:
o Replace left side 1.5” SCH 40 steel handrail (lower stair vertical and missing horizontal section – left), in existing core
o Use solid grout infills when installing new handrail vertical
o Replace lower side lighting fixture and curved high strength optical grade clear acrylic lens cover with Acuity Brands Hydrel 4750 Series T5-T5HO Linear Fluorescent fixture and mounts or equivalent. Maintain same cord length. Finish to match existing.

2. The work will occur in and around active traffic spaces/lanes occupied by U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel, and will disrupt normal port operations as little as possible. Any/all lane shutdowns to be coordinated with CBP.
3. All railings shall match port standard. Guardrail replacement components to be rust finish and handrails in stainless steel finish.
4. The phasing of the project shall be approved prior to work performed
5. The General Contractor shall provide a minimum of a two (2) year warranty for all labor and materials associated with the project, unless a longer term is stated elsewhere.
