Federal Construction Group, Inc. will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, technical supervision and other items and services

necessary to perform: inspection, abatement, installation and repair to all items within this SOW.

Scope of Work:

1. Contractor shall repair to fire suppression systems at different locations abroad MCAS Yuma.

2. Contractor shall verify sizes for all parts of repairs and replacement on all fire suppression systems.

3. Contractor shall notify Peter Turpen, fire department and building personnel before start of work.

4. Contractor shall make all electrical and mechanical connection for this project.

5. Contractor shall follow all manufacturer recommendations and requirements.

6. Contractor shall ensure the equipment is in manufacturer recommended operation before acceptance.

7. Contractor shall notify fire department and building personnel upon completion of work.

Bldg. #3231

Demolition –

a) Contractor shall remove water motor gong and associated piping.

b) Contractor shall remove corroded 4in diameter piping, 90 degree elbow and Victaulic connection.

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install eclectic alarm bell per NFPA and UFC.

b) Contractor shall install 4in diameter 3ft long section of piping with a tee connection at 10 ft 6in.

c) Contactor shall install a 4in 90 degree elbow

Demolition –

a) Contractor shall remove water motor gong and associated piping.

b) Contractor shall remove corroded 6in diameter, OS&Y, 6in check valve and associated piping per NFPA and UFC.

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install eclectic alarm bell per NFPA and UFC.

b) Contractor shall install new 6in diameter piping, OS&Y, 6in check valve, gauges and associated piping per NFPA and UFC

Demolition –

a) Contractor shall remove water motor gong and associated piping.

b) Contractor shall remove corroded 6in diameter, OS&Y, 6in check valve and associated piping.

Installations –

a) Contractor shall install electric alarm bell per NFPA and UFC.

b) Contractor shall install new 6in diameter piping, OS&Y, 6in check valve, gauges and associated piping.

Bldg. #3216

Demolition –

a) Contractor shall remove PVC drain piping from Fire Pump.

b) Contractor shall remove PVC drain piping from Pressure Reducing Valve

c) Contractor shall remove copper trim piping, gauges, and associated fittings from Fire Pump and Fire Pump Controller.

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install new copper drain piping for Fire Pump per NFPA and UFC.

b) Contractor shall install new copper drain piping for Pressure Reducing Valve per NFPA and UFC.

c) Contractor shall install new copper trim piping, gauges and associated fitting for Fire Pump and Fire Pump Controller per NFPA and UFC.

Bldg. #109

Demolition –

a) Contractor shall remove ½-inch packing and bolts for packing on fire pump #1 and #2.

b) Contractor shall remove two, Pressure Reducing Valve from fire Pump #1 and #2.

c) Contractor shall water motor gong, retard chamber and associated piping from center office area fire suppression riser.

d) Contractor shall remove a section of corroded 4-inch piping from center office area fire suppression riser.

e) Contractor shall remove a section of corroded 6-inch piping the hanger area east fire suppression riser.

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install new ½-inch packing bolts for fire pump #1 and #2.

b) Contractor shall install two, new175 PSI Pressure Reducing Valve for fire pump #1 and #2.

c) Contractor shall install eclectic alarm bell on center office area fire suppression riser per NFPA and UFC.

d) Contractor shall confirm that available power in area of riser will be enough for eclectic alarm bell for use, if not, contractor shall install conductors, conduit and run to nearest electrical panel with available power

e) Contractor shall install new section of 4-inch diameter piping for center office area fire suppression riser per NFPA and UFC.

f) Contractor shall install new section of 6-inch diameter piping for hanger area east fire suppression riser per NFPA and UFC. Bldg. #508

Demolition –

a) Contractor shall remove existing 6-inch Globe Alarm Check Valve Model H-3, gauges, and associated piping on fire suppression riser.

b) Contractor shall remove water motor gong, retard chamber and all associated piping.

c) Contractor shall remove existing 6in OS&Y valve on riser.

d) Contractor shall remove existing 2 ½ -inch dry pipe valve, gauges and associated piping on fire suppression riser.

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install new 6in check valve, gauges, and associated piping.

b) Contractor shall install new eclectic alarm bell, for outside use, 120volt, conductors, conduit, and associated parts to flow switch.

c) Contractor shall confirm that available power in area of riser will be enough for eclectic alarm bell for use, if not, contractor shall install conductors, conduit and run to nearest electrical panel with available power.

d) Contractor shall install new 6in OS&Y valve on riser.

e) Contractor shall install 2 ½ – inch suppression piping to 6-inch fire riser above the water flow switch.

f) Contractor shall make all mechanical and electrical connections.

g) Contractor shall test and inspect new equipment per NFPA and UFC.

Bldg. #530

Demolition

a) Contractor shall remove failed Flint & Walling 2-HP 3-PH jockey pump and associated piping.

b) Contractor shall remove pressures relieve valve for fire pump.

c) Contractor shall remove corroded drain piping from fire pump.

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install new compatible jockey pump and associated piping for the fire pump.

b) Contractor shall install new pressure relieve valve for fire pump.

c) Contractor shall test and inspect new jockey pump and pressure relive valve per NFPA and UFC.

d) Contractor shall install copper drain piping for fire pump.
