Install Low-E Windows Building in Multiple Buildings

Federal Construction Group was tasked to replace  two hundred fifty-one (251) windows in buildings S5, 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 307, 309,  and 501.  We furnished and installed the windows to improve the thermal efficiency of each building by installing new Low-E windows to match existing rough opening, to include all necessary trim work (interior and exterior).  The windows were thermal transmittance (U-Factor) 0.45 or better, solar heat gain coefficent 0.31 or better, peak blast pressure 6.3 psi, positive phase impulse 45 psi-msec, positive phase duration 15 msec and color clad to match the building roof color standard.  The windows were 1″ thick insulated glass unit constructed of an exterior sheet of 1/4″ thick annealed glass and an interior sheet of 0.243″ thick laminated glass with a 1/2″ aluminum and thermoplastic spacer system.  The laminated glass was constructed of two sheets of 0.106″ thick annealed glass and a 0.030″ thick PVB interlayer with a 2 year warranty.
