Federal Construction Group, Inc. is tasked to:
- Design and provide the needed repairs to the existing fire alarm system in building 20001, Hangar 1 (excluding the control tower and existing suppression systems) up to the latest NFPA, UFC, DOD and all applicable codes. This will include replacing/adding to the IR detectors, new IR control panel, adding pull stations, and adding audible/visual devices.
- Project will include recharging the AFFF system before and after the test, testing the AFFF system, all the new devices and provide spare sprinkler heads and spare sprinkler head cabinets as required by code.2. All new conduits shall be concealed above lay-in ceilings, chases or in walls unless existing conditions will not permit it.
- All outages and tests in the hangar bay shall require a 2 month lead time submitted to the government in writing. All other areas shall require a 21 day notice submitted to the government in writing.
- Asbestos-containing material (ACM) and/or lead-containing paint (LCM) have been identified in this building. If ACMs are disturbed, comply with specification Section 02 82 16.00 20, Engineering Control of Asbestos Containing Materials. If LCM is disturbed, comply with specification Section 02 83 13 00 20, Lead in Construction.
