Repair Power Feed to Sea Site 1 Facility 70127

Federal Construction Group, Inc. is tasked to rent 4 standby generators and cables for a 3 month period to get the main power back to Sea Site 1 due the power pole getting hit by lighting.

SCOPE OF WORK:

  1. To rent 2- 250-299KVA generators, 1- 350-399KVA generator, 1-25KVA generator and cables for a period of 3 months. Provide timers for each generator. Set one 208V-120V/ 3 phase generator at the Sea Site 1 power conditioner area. The generator will be connected to three units. Connect one set of cables to the transfer switch for the power conditioner and connect the cables to the power conditioner lugs. Set the transfer switch so it will only power the power conditioner wires. Connect the second set of cables to the load side of transformer T-933 and the third set of cables to transformer T-935. Use the knocked out holes for the cables and protect the cables from metal edge of the holes. The transformers shall be in the opened position so it shall not back-feed the primary side. Set the other two transformers up at the main site by the existing transformers. One of the transformers shall be set for 480V-277V/3 phase and that set of cables shall connect to the load side of T-9. The other transformer shall be set for 208V-120V/3 phase and that set of the cables shall be connected to the load side of transformer T-5. Use the knocked out hole for inserting the cables and protect the cables from the metal edge. The transformers shall be in the open position so it shall not back-feed the primary sides. The 25 KVA generator shall be set for 208V-120V/3 phase and it shall be located at the pump house. Connect that set of cables to the load side of the main breaker to MCC-2 inside the pump house to power up the water booster pump. The main breaker shall be in the open position so it shall not back-feed the primary side of MCC-2. Use the knocked out hole for inserting the cables and protect the cables from the metal edge. Ground all devices as per manufactures recommendation and the latest version of the National Electrical Code. Set all timers for 10 hours of run time per day. Use caution tape to tape off the affected areas to keep unqualified people out of the area. Secure all cables and openings to protect any person, animal or weather from any dangers. Follow all the recommendation of the rental company and the latest version of the National Electrical Code. Fuel for generators will be provided by the government.
