Federal Construction Group, Inc. is tasked to:

Demolition –

a) Remove existing FACP and dispose-off site.

Fire Alarm System:

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install new addressable fire alarm panel with internal DACT (for future use).

• The ability to store at least 400 events in the history log. These events must be stored in a nonvolatile memory and remain in the memory until the memory is downloaded or cleared manually.

• Resetting of the control panel must not clear the memory from being retrieved on the integral LCD display.

• An integral LCD 80 character (minimum) alphanumeric display.

• Provide all smoke detectors connected to the FACP with an adjustable alarm verification feature.

a)  Initially set the alarm verification at 20 seconds

b) Contractor shall locate the control panel and supplemental control panels in a year-round environmentally conditioned space within the building that complies with the environmental conditions required in the panel approval or listing.

c) Contractor shall provide rechargeable sealed lead acid type batteries for secondary power to operate the fire alarm system under supervisory conditions for 48 hours and audible and all alarm devices for an additional 15 minutes.

d) Contractor shall connect to existing King Fisher Radio Transmitter for reporting of signals form newly installed FACP.

AFFF

Installation –

a) Contractor shall order 1000 gallons of AFFF 3% Mil Spec MIL-F-24385F and refill main AFFF storage tank in fire pump room.

HVAC

Installation –

a) Contractor shall install new 2 ton ductless cooling only, ceiling mounted high efficiency split system air conditioner with all piping, and electrical in the main electrical/fire alarm room of Bldg. 95 this shall include a hardwired only thermostat, as identified on the job walk.
