Federal Construction Group, Inc. is tasked to replace damaged 35kV cable from main switch station CKT-1 to the 225 kVA transformer at the Culmination Tower Site, Sea Site 3 area.  Complete repairs required to fully restore fallen power lines on circuit CHILAK-EL-CKT-1085-7 located along the west side of G-1 Road and south of G-8 Substation. Work includes repair/replacement of broken cross arms, insulators and related hardware, retentioning sagging conductor, and repairing broken conductor. Contractor will return site to original condition and remove and properly dispose of all materials resulting from this project.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
A. Cable test report after installation
B. This project has a Record of Categorical Exclusions (CATEX) associated with it. The Contractor shall adhere to all the mitigation measures outlined in the attached CATEX.

SCOPE OF WORK:
C. Below Statement of Work outlines work required to replace damaged 34.5kV underground conductor to Culmination Tower Site, South Range from the pole riser to the transformer.  Materials provided by the Government are listed below and will be made available to the contractor upon request.
1) Remove existing damaged 35KV underground conductor-three 500’ (est) cables running concurrently. Care will be taken to preserve underground conduit during removal of existing damaged conductor.
2) Mandrel underground conduit to insure clean conduit.
3) Install, terminate and test three new 500’ (Est) 35KV cables in vacated conduit.
4) Return site to original condition and remove and properly dispose of all materials resulting from this project.
