RPM Decommissioning, Removal and Transfer of RPM Equipment Port Canaveral and Fort Pierce FL

Federal Construction Group removed the Radiation Portal Monitoring (RPM) equipment and ancillary equipment located at the U.S. Ports of Entry Port Canaveral, FL and Fort Pierce, FL.  The RPMs and ancillary electronic equipment was disconnected, disassembled, packed for shipment and loaded onto a flat bed semi-trailer truck.  The 8′ X 18′ booth from Fort Pierce was transported to the West Palm Beach Port of Entry and installed in place of the 8′ x 14′ booth currently occupying the space.  All booth components in the existing booth was dismantled, stored out of the weather, and put back into the replacement booth.  The booth pad was resurfaced to improve drainage and a structure was built on the foundation to elevate the booth above the water.  The 8′ x 18′ booths from Port Canaveral North Gate were transported to the Port Everglades Port of Entry and stored.
