Replace Doors with Automatic Doors Building 01400
Federal Construction Group was tasked to replace the doors in building 01400 with automatic doors. This is a secured facility that required coordination to prevent unauthorized access to the facility during construction. At no time were the security entry doors left open and unattended during the installation. A previous pre-demolition asbestos survey of the building identified asbestos in wallboard/joint compound, wall texture, ceiling tiles and floor tiles/mastic. If disturbed or removed, these materials would be classified ranging from category 1 and 2 non-frieable waste to regulated ACM (hazardous). Care and proper procedures were taken when performing this work.
